The school year is officially over. My favourite time of year is here, lazing around relaxing and spending quality time with my daughters, family and friends. No rushing and time to wind down and finish the year 2014. I did not really do that mush this week but I had a few moments to share with you all.
The gorgeous Carly from Smaggle made my day with a sweet little momento, I received yesterday. There are a few bloggers around that just make me smile with their sass and gorgeousness and Carly is one of those lovely ladies that does just that - Carly makes me happy! Thank you lovely lady.
A few weeks back but the lovely Kate Sutton from UberKate sent me a little gift in the mail and what can I say, how lucky am I? I am in love with my very own piece of Uber creation, engraved with my own personal design of an infinity symbol and my daughters initials. Thank you Kate you are the best.
Blogging is certainly a dream I am hoping will continue to grow overtime. I just enjoy every aspect of writing here at Style On V and I hope you all like what I bring to you each day. I would have to say that 2014 has been my been my most proactive year to date finding my own little niche of uniqueness in style and life. This year I made a commitment to attend invitations sent my way, although Pro-blogger and the Kidspot Voices seminars were not possible for me to attend. You can read here why? Family came first. The connections I have made this year socially have been spectacular. I have also had a few promotions and PR connections and these are all highlights that made 2014 a great year. Lets hope 2015 is bigger and brighter for Style On V.
On another note I have been on the look out for an eye mask over the last few months, as I wake often through out the night and then only to sleep for a few more hours to be wide awake at 6 - 6:30am and my body is not liking this very much anymore. So I have been thinking an eye mask to block out the light may make a difference. I purchased this gorgeous Breakfast at Tiffany's one from Peter Alexander* last week. I have to say that the sleep mask has made a huge difference. A gorgeous soft silk fabric with a touch of gold and applique eye detail for that extra touch of glam. I highly recommend using an eye mask, especially one covered in silk or a silk like fabric for softness and comfort. This has helped me grab a few more hours shut eye in the morning, I am considering purchasing another as I love this one that much, I want a spare. At the moment they are 20% off until Sunday.
I just am just loving listening to Taylor Swifts Blank Space at the moment.
Do you have trouble sleeping in a little longer in the morning? Do you use and eye mask?
Have you received any random acts of kindness lately?
What are you loving listening to at the moment?
